"Till The End of Time" is the ninth track from Mariah's sophomore album Emotions. The song was released on September 17, 1991 through Columbia Records and is written and produced by Mariah and Walter Afanasieff.
Critical reception[]
In his unauthorized biography titled Mariah Carey Revisited, author Chris Nickson states "The quiet changes of “Till the End of Time,” with its gentle, almost lullaby melody, gave the impression that it was the final track, the winding-down of a night. It was a love song, directed at a boyfriend, but with the overall impression that Mariah was actually saying it to herself, rather than to him in the flesh. As it was, it worked perfectly as a segue between the rest of the album and its actual last cut, “The Wind.”[1] In his book author Marc Shapiro describes "Till the End of Time" as a "quiet" song.[2]
