The Children's Place Inc. is a specialty retailer of children's apparel and accessories headquartered in Secaucus, New Jersey. Mariah Carey partnered with the company in October 2023 and starred in the brand's 2023 holiday campaign.

On October 17, 2023, it was revealed that Carey had followed in Wanya Morris and Snoop Dogg's footsteps and had lent her likeness to the third part of The Children's Place's "An Iconic Holiday" campaign.[1] The campaign features Carey and her twins decked out in festive holiday attire. In an exclusive conversation with People, Carey details why getting to work with The Children's Place was a perfect match.[2]

Carey also stated that collaborating with her twins on set was "really fun" and that "to use [her] love of them in [her] work is so rewarding."
Campaign[]
The Children's Place campaign also includes a visual element: a commercial where Carey and her kids wear "Mama Claus" and "Santa's Helper" graphic tees while decorating a Christmas tree, and "We Are Family" matching family pajamas while baking Christmas cookies. Soundtracked by "All I Want for Christmas Is You," the commercial is reminiscent of the song's music video, which saw Carey playing with wrapped presents and reveling in a snowy landscape.
The Dress[]
Carey's collaboration with The Children's Place also features a red velour A-line limited edition gown with a flowing green plaid sash, simply known as "The Dress."[2] When asked about its creative process, Carey revealed to People it didn't come without some trepidation initially:

And then I just decided to do something really paired down but classic, and I was really excited about that part of the collaboration. That was something that was really fun.
