Make It Last Remix[]

Live performances[]

Carey opened the 27th annual American Music Awards on January 17, 2000 with a medley of the original and remix versions of "Thank God I Found You." The performance featured Joe and Nas as special guests. For the Rainbow World Tour, Carey, this time with Trey Lorenz singing Joe's parts, once again performed a medley of both versions of the song, though while the original was performed in full, only Joe's and Carey's first verses and the last chorus from the remix were performed.

Carey and Lorenz performed the "Thank God I Found You" remix together again during The Adventures of Mimi. For this tour, the bridge was turned into an acoustic intro, featuring only guitar and vocals, before segueing into the very last chorus, now backed by the full band and background singers. The remix was regularly included in the set list, except for the shows in Atlanta, the second Atlantic City show, Uncasville, Albany, Verona, Washington DC, Calgary, Sacramento, Anaheim and the shows in Japan.

18 years later, the remix was included in a medley during Carey's set at the Soul Beach Music Festival on May 25, 2024. Starting on January 31, 2025, Carey added the "Thank God I Found You" remix to The Celebration of Mimi set list. Carey sings the first verse and chorus before bringing two couples on stage in honor of "Valentine's month," while the band plays a loop of the remix's instrumental in the background.
