Moroccan Scott Cannon (born April 30, 2011) is an American media personality & actor. He is the son of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon and the twin brother of Monroe Cannon.

Biography

Moroccan was born on April 30, 2011, in Santa Monica, California. He is the twin-brother of Monroe Cannon. Cannon's personality has often been compared to his mother, with some referring to him as (Mini Mimi).

Moroccan is an avid gamer. He is also a big supporter of the show "Steven Universe." Moroccan is also a fan of the "Five Nights at Freddy's" franchise.

Moments

• In September 2019, "In The Mix" was released, and it includes a clip of Moroccan and his twin-sister Monroe saying the “Yaaay us!” line in the song.
• In March 2020, Mariah posted a video of Monroe & Moroccan. This video showed the twins hosting a lemonade stand called "Roc & Roe's Lemonade Shack!" The lemonade stand also sold Oreos.
• On April 30, 2020 Monroe and Moroccan celebrated their 9th birthday with a virtual party (via ZOOM). The party appeared to be Roblox themed and a screen showing their friends can be seen. The twins also wore a white shirt with the words "Roc & Roe" imprinted on it.
• In June 2020, Mariah surprised the cast of Schitt's Creek by singing the end of "Hero" with them via Zoom. Moroccan or Monroe can be heard saying "Can I get on the Zoom Call" and "Mommy, can I have some more soda." At the end of her appearance, Mariah sang a snippet of "Always Be My Baby" for actor Daniel Levy and Moroccan can be seen with his sister.
• In August 2020, Moroccan was asked by a user of "TikTok"  to ask Mariah to say hi. When he went to his mom, Mariah stated “Tell him I’m on a business call,” Moroccan followed up with “Well, my mom is not ready to look, um, be shot at, on TikTok, but yeah. And plus, she’s on a business call,” he said. After a series of videos from Moroccan's TikTok profile, his page went private.
• Between August and October 2020, Moroccan was unfortunately the victim of bullying by White-supremacists. According to Mariah, he thought these people were his "friends."
• For Halloween 2024, Mariah dressed up as Alvin, while Moroccan dressed up as Simon from the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.
• For Mariah Carey's Christmas Time tour (2024), Moroccan joins Monroe on stage during an intermission to perform a mashup of "Let It Snow" and "Deck the Halls". During the performance, Moroccan played the drums while Monroe played the guitar and danced. During the same tour, he also raps during the performance of "Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane) / House Top Celebration".
• On April 3, 2025, Mariah Carey made a surprise appearance on Moroccan's Twitch livestream while he was gaming. Moroccan initially invited Mariah to join the stream, but after seeing the enthusiastic reaction from viewers, he became embarrassed and asked her and Monroe to leave, saying, "Y'all need to get out, now." The moment quickly went viral across social media platforms.
