Silver articles are articles of high standard written to a professional exemplar. They are denoted by a silver star.
This recognition is separate from featured articles, which are articles that have been or are featured on the main page. They are also different than gold articles, in the sense that silver are articles of good quality that have been chosen to enhance their visibility whereas gold articles are articles of excellent quality.
Silver articles are promoted and demoted by the users that make up the Administrators.
Requirements[]
- All silver articles must not have content from Wikipedia or other websites that has not been referenced.
- All silver articles must have at least 2 images
- All silver articles must have categories
Procedure for Silver articles[]
- If you believe an article should be ranked silver. Please visit Mariah Carey Wiki talk:Silver articles and provide the name of the article and a reason why you believe that page should be ranked silver
- An administrator will review your submission as soon as possible. If an administrator has not commented on your proposal please message the administrator on his/her wall
- If the nomination is accepted, the article is reviewed by the administrator and checked for major errors or omissions.
- If article standards are not kept, administrators reserve the right to remove the silver star.
