I Still Believe (EP) is a digital extended play that was released on September 4, 2020. This EP marks the nineteenth #MC30 release in which every Friday sees a reveal of rare music to celebrate Carey’s music career since her self-titled debut album released in 1990.

Background

In February of 1999, the single "I Still Believe" from Mariah's #1s compilation album was released.

The release of this EP is part of the #MC30 series in which every Friday sees a release of rare music to celebrate Carey’s music career since her self-titled debut album release in 1990.

The EP comprises thirteen tracks including "I Still Believe/Pure Imagination" which is produced by Carey and Damizza and was included on the CD single with the original version and three other remixes, released on February 23, 1999. The EP also includes several David Morales remixes of the song, including the "Classic Club" mix. It retains the song's original music and chord progressions with Carey's original vocals and considerable ad libs. Other remixes by Morales include The King's Mix and the Eve of Souls mix, which do not contain complete vocals of the song, and feature little more than ad libs over club beats.

Chart performance

I Still Believe debuted initially debuted at #214 on the Worldwide iTunes Charts but peaked at #40 on its release date.
