IHeart Living Room Concert for America was a concert hosted by Elton John. It will include performances from Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw and more[1] The concert will be aired on Sunday March 29th at 9PM EST on FOX[2]

Background[]

Following the outbreak of COVID-19 and the advise to practice social distancing the 2020 iHeartRadio Music Awards was posponed and replaced with this event. This concert will raise raise money for Feeding America and First Responders Children’s Foundation.[2] In a instagram post IHeart Radio stated

We are paying tribute to the front line health professionals & local heroes who are helping to fight the spread of COVID-19 with a one-of-a-kind concert event.

The performances will be filmed on the singer's personal cell phones, cameras and audio equipment in order to ensure the health and safety of the participants.

Fox will offer the event across all its linear and digital platforms, with additional details and performers to be announced soon. Executive producers of the event include John Sykes and Tom Poleman, for iHeartMedia and Joel Gallen, For Tenth Planet Productions - who produced the multi-network telethons immediately following 9/11, Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti Earthquake.[3]
