"Oh Santa!" is a song by American singer and songwriter Mariah Carey from her second Christmas album and thirteenth studio album, Merry Christmas II You. The song was released as the lead single from the album on October 1, 2010 by Island Def Jam Records.

"Oh Santa!" saw its live debut over a month after it was released, as the opening song to Carey's Christmas special, Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to You, taped at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles on November 6, 2010 and aired on December 13, 2010. Carey also taped two additional performances of the song that year: at the Rockefeller Center for the annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center telecast on November 19, 2010, aired on November 30, 2010, and at Walt Disney World on December 3, 2010, aired on Christmas Day, as part of the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. Carey also performed "All I Want for Christmas Is You" at the event.
The song was also part of the setlist for Carey's All I Want for Christmas Is You concerts, from 2014 to 2019.
"Oh Santa!" was also part of Carey's third Christmas special, Mariah Carey's Merriest Christmas, taped at Beacher's Madhouse in Los Angeles on November 23, 2015 and aired on December 19, 2015.
Carey performed the song, as well as "Christmas Time Is in the Air Again" and "All I Want for Christmas Is You" on The Late Late Show with James Corden on December 4, 2019, to promote Merry Christmas (Deluxe Anniversary Edition). The performance of "Oh Santa!" was broadcasted on December 17, 2019.
The song also made the setlist for Merry Christmas to All!, being performed on every date and appearing on Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All!, taped at Madison Square Garden on December 13 and 16, 2022 and aired on December 20, 2022.
Carey, once again, included the song on the setlist for her third Christmas tour, Merry Christmas One and All!, in 2023. On the tour's first show in New York, Carey was joined by Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson during the song's performance.

- The single version of "Oh Santa!" (without the "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" intro transition during the opening sleigh bells) has been removed from streaming services and digital retailers and replaced by the album version (with the transition) on every platform. It's currently impossible to stream/buy the single version of the song and the only way to listen to it officially is if it was bought on iTunes when it was first released.
Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson version[]
Ten years after its original release, Carey recorded a new version of "Oh Santa!" with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson. The new version of the song served as the lead single from the Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special soundtrack and was released through Sony Music and Legacy Recordings on December 4, 2020.[2][3]
Background[]
On October 9, 2020 Mariah posted an image to social media which included three directors chairs with the initials "AG," "MC" and "JH" labeled on each respectively.[4] She captioned the post with a Christmas three emoji. Following the post, many began to speculate that the meaning of the initials.[5] On November 18th, 2020, it was revealed that Mariah would be collaborating with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson on the remix of her 2010 single, “Oh Santa!” The release of this single will coincide with the release of the upcoming AppleTV+ original, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special. Both of them will be released on December 4, 2020.[6]
