Death of a Dynasty is a comedy film first screened in 2003. It is a satire of the hip hop music industry centered around Roc-A-Fella Records, and stars Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Capone and Damon Dash. It also features cameo appearances by musicians, actors and celebrities such as Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Chloë Sevigny and Carson Daly. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2003 and was also shown at the Cannes Film Festival, but it was not released to theatres in the United States until 2005. It was co-produced by Roc-A-Fella Films and distributed by TLA Releasing. Damon Dash directed the film and Adam Moreno wrote its screenplay.
