On September 9, 2020 Mariah revealed the track-listing for the compilation album, The Rarities.[1] On the album, "Can You Hear Me" was listed as the second track.
Within the booklet of The Rarities, there is a short quote for each song. The quote for "Can You Hear Me" reads:
