Bianca Storm is a British, brunette seductress with unfinished business. This dark-glam queen presents as Mariah Carey's evil alter-ego.
Appearances[]
Bianca first appeared in The Heartbreaker which was filmed in 1999.
In the video, Mariah and her friends head to a movie theater to confront Mariah's cheating boyfriend, who is at the theater with Bianca. The group of girls targets the cheating pair by tossing popcorn at them, all the while, Bianca acts disinterested in her cheating date, even placing her dog in his face while he attempted to kiss her.
Bianca later walks away into the bathroom, where Mariah comes from behind and taps her shoulder. The villainess responds by slapping Mariah, leading to a cat fight between the pair. The scene later shifted back to the theater, though it is assumed that Bianca was defeated in the fight, as Mariah appeared to her cheating boyfriend and poured soda all over him.
During the promotional campaign for Rainbow in 1999, Mariah appeared in a satirical MTV interview where she portrayed both herself and her alter ego, Bianca. The segment, styled as a fictional talk show titled Chit Chat with Bianca, featured a comedic and confrontational exchange between the two personas. Bianca, acting as the sarcastic and antagonistic host, misnamed the album as Prism and dismissed the title Rainbow as unoriginal. Throughout the interview, Bianca mocked Carey's hand gestures while singing, misattributed rap lyrics from Da Brat to Carey, and made critical remarks about her outfit and overall presentation. Carey, while attempting to remain composed, defended her creative choices and clarified the collaborative nature of the album. The sketch concluded with Bianca becoming visibly frustrated, exclaiming, “Who the f*** put me on this job?” before Carey called for security.
In the same year, Bianca appeared in another comedic sketch alongside Carey, this time set during a fictional autograph signing session. As Carey was thanking her fans and waving goodbye, Bianca suddenly entered the scene, aggressively pushing Carey to the ground—prompting audible gasps from the crowd. Bianca then approached a fan in line and asked, “What have you got for me today? Is it my new CD Storm?” The fan responded, “It’s Mariah’s… but yeah,” prompting Bianca to snatch the Rainbow booklet out of their hands. She proceeded to post a mock cover of her fictional album Storm over a wall decorated with images of Carey's Rainbow and #1's album covers. Pointing to her poster, Bianca declared, “This is what a real poster looks like. Not this,” before tearing down one of Carey’s Rainbow posters and exclaiming, “I don’t like that. You love me, adore me, hate her. I am sexy as hell.” She then grabbed a bag—presumably filled with gifts meant for Carey—and exited the scene. As the sketch concluded, Carey was still shown on the floor, rubbing her head from the earlier altercation, while Bianca turned to the fans and dismissively told them to “go home.”
In 2003, Bianca made a brief appearance in the music video for “Boy (I Need You).” In the video, Mariah and Bianca are seen racing down a track in stylized vehicles. Bianca drives a sleek black car with the letter “B” on the front, while Carey is in a white and pink car marked with the letter “M.” The two engage in a playful but competitive race, bumping into each other along the track. The sequence finishes with Carey bumping into Bianca’s car, causing it to veer off the racetrack.
In 2016, Bianca made an appearance in Mariah's World.
In 2019, during the Caution World Tour, Mariah and Bianca engaged in a staged fight similar to their altercation in the Heartbreaker music video.
