Ben Margulies is an American songwriter and record producer. He has worked with Mariah Carey. Margulies has also worked with other big names such as Narada Michael Walden, Randy Jackson and Chaka Khan. [1]
Relationship with Mariah[]
Ben went to school with Mariah in Huntington, Long Island. He helped Mariah with her demo tape and debut album.[2]. According to Mariah, Margulies's father had a wood shop that included a studio. This is where they would record music such as the demo version of Vision of Love.[3] It is unknown whether Mariah and Margulies are friends as they did not collaboratively work on albums or songs following the first album.
